IEP POLICY
Terms of Use
Version: terms-2026-09-07-v2
1. Who we are and how to contact us
These Terms govern use of the IEP education-planning platform and Advisor booking service provided by IEP (International Education Platform) Canada Inc., Alberta, Canada (IEP, we, us). Contact us at info@iep7.com about your account, a booking or these Terms.
2. Adult account holder and parent or guardian responsibility
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter this agreement to create or use an account, contract with IEP or pay for a service. Your account must be your own. A person under 18 may be an education-planning beneficiary only through an account held by their parent or legal guardian. If you plan for a minor, you confirm that you are that person's parent or legal guardian, are authorized to provide their information, and remain responsible for the account and payments. Do not provide unnecessary identifying or sensitive information about a child. IEP does not offer a separate minor account or contracting process for this launch.
The required acknowledgement is: “I am 18 or older and accept the Terms of Use. If I am planning for someone under 18, I am their parent or legal guardian and will hold the account and be responsible for payments.” We record the accepted Terms version, content digest, account and time. This is an undertaking by the account holder; it is not a claim that IEP independently verifies age or guardianship.
3. Education planning and information limits
IEP helps you explore education pathways and discuss them with Advisors. Estimates, calculations, benchmarks, fees, dates and pathway information depend on the inputs, source dates and stated limitations. They may change and may be incomplete for an individual situation. Verify important requirements with the relevant institution, government authority or appropriately qualified professional before acting. IEP does not guarantee admission, recognition or transfer of credits, a particular saving, employment, or a visa or immigration outcome. An Advisor meeting does not itself guarantee admission or create an unlisted service commitment. Separate paid services, if offered, require their own clear scope and applicable terms.
4. Accounts and personal Plans
Keep your sign-in access secure, give accurate information you are authorized to provide, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use. Your saved Full Plan is accessible to anyone with its permanent link, without sign-in or a viewing code. Share this link only with people you choose; it does not grant access to your account or bookings. Search-indexed Public Plan publication is a separate function and is disabled by default for this launch. Do not share another person's private Plan or access an account or report without authority. Personal educational use is permitted; misuse, fraud, interference with the service and infringement of others' rights are not.
5. Advisor meetings and payment
Initial MVP booking requires sign-in and an owned Assessment or Plan. You may book additional independent sessions against that context; each has its own booking and payment. Book Another Session does not cancel or reschedule an earlier session.
Omid's initial meeting is CAD 50 for 30 minutes. The existing 15-minute post-session scheduling buffer is not additional meeting time. Review the date, time, timezone, Advisor and amount before continuing. A selected time is held for 15 minutes while you complete booking. A hold or an open payment page is not a confirmed appointment. Follow the final IEP booking status; contact us if payment and booking status disagree, and do not make a second payment while the first is being checked.
Paid bookings use Stripe Checkout. A valid partial voucher reduces the amount due under the displayed voucher conditions. A valid 100% voucher produces CAD 0 due and a waived booking without Stripe payment. Vouchers are subject to their eligibility, expiry and redemption conditions; they are not cash. No subscription or automatic recurring meeting payment is created by this booking flow. The amount shown before payment is the amount you authorize; contact us before paying if it differs from the expected amount.
6. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Contact info@iep7.com with your booking reference for cancellation or rescheduling. Under the existing booking rules: cancellation at least 24 hours before the meeting is refundable; rescheduling at least 24 hours before the meeting allows one free reschedule; cancellation less than 24 hours before the meeting and no-shows are normally non-refundable. If the Advisor cancels, you may choose an available rescheduled meeting or a full refund. An authorized IEP operator may approve an exception where appropriate. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
If IEP cannot provide a paid meeting, contact us so we can arrange an available alternative or the applicable refund through the existing process. Refunds require operator review and initiation; opening a support request does not itself complete a refund. Stripe and your payment provider control their own processing times. IEP does not promise an automatic refund or a particular bank posting date.
7. Eligible meeting-fee credit
Where an approved IEP service permits a meeting-fee credit, the eligible amount is the actual paid meeting fee, applied once to that service under its stated conditions. A waived meeting creates no paid meeting-fee credit. A refunded meeting fee cannot also be used as a credit. This provision does not create a new service offer, cash withdrawal right or unspecified discount.
8. Communications, external services and interruptions
We send essential account, Plan, booking and payment-related messages. Stripe, Google Calendar/Meet, email services and hosting providers support delivery and may experience interruptions. Do not assume that an ambiguous payment, calendar request or email failure means nothing happened. Contact info@iep7.com so IEP can reconcile the existing records before another payment or booking attempt. We may restrict access needed to investigate misuse, protect accounts or resolve service incidents. This does not remove an existing refund obligation or mandatory right.
9. Privacy and optional choices
The Privacy Notice explains personal information, recipients, retention and requests. Optional analytics and referral tracking are separate choices and remain off unless allowed. Refusing or withdrawing optional analytics does not prevent essential account, security, booking, payment or policy-evidence processing. Acceptance of these Terms is not optional-analytics consent.
10. Changes and ending use
We will identify the effective version of these Terms. Material changes require the account holder to accept the new version before further protected account use or new bookings. We preserve the Terms text and evidence applicable to earlier transactions; a change does not silently rewrite a completed booking. You may stop using the service or request account closure at info@iep7.com. Existing booking, financial, dispute and record-retention obligations may continue as explained in the Privacy Notice. We will handle unresolved paid bookings through the applicable service and refund process.
11. Governing law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and applicable Canadian federal law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Please contact info@iep7.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, an invented liability cap or a waiver of mandatory consumer rights.
